2011 Capital Conference

With the success of its Inaugural Capital Conference, Fashinvest hosted its second Capital Conference in December of 2012.;  A SELL OUT event, Fashinvest again hosted 300 entrepreneurs, investors and industry representatives.  The Capital Conference kicked off with a high-energy reception the evening before hosted by LIM College.  The next day, the event hosted some of the leading CEOs in the industry who addressed the crowd.  The  Breakfast Keynote was presented by Marty Staff from American Apparel, Calvin Klein and other leading brands fame.  Throughout the day over 20 companies presented their company opportunities in an eight minute pitch format hosted by Daymond John of FUBU and ABC Shark Tank fame to financiers and operating executives.  In addition, several panels on topics ranging from “Insights from Entrepreneurs Who Also Invest” to “What Do Digital Products Mean to Brands.” The  event concluded with our Holiday Gala in the Great Hall of the Fashion Institute of Technology where the crowd adjourned to network and do deals!
