Claire raises $1.8 million to help retailers gauge sales with AI-powered chatbot

Claire, a New York-based chatbot for testing merchandise, has raised $1.8 million in seed funding. The investment came from Salesforce Ventures, Y Combinator and Burch Creative Capital. Marta Jamrozik and Misha Laskin co-founded and launched the chatbot in December 2015 to help fashion brands reconcile what their shoppers say they want and what they actually buy. …
