Women’s specialty retailer dots announced the launch of its very first online shopping site and offers its largest single store offering its female customers a variety of clothing and accessories ranging from outerwear to scarves and shoes The company currently has 420 stores spread out in 28 different U.S. States.
The company recognized the importance of e-commerce as more and more businesses expand their market through online outlets and dots recognized the necessity to build a relationship with customers who do not have access to its existing brick and mortar stores and thus can conveniently access their products online. The new site offers different products in its very girly held design and features new arrivals, plus sizes and much more. Personally, I believe that it will appeal to those women looking to save money but are still looking for that fashion forward metallic sweater or those suede ankle boots.
The e-commerce sector has continued its double-digit growth year after year. E-commercce sales are growing more than 19% per year and are predicted to be at $1.4 trillion in 2015.
Dots has been in the retail industry for over 20 years and was founded by Bob Glick in 1987 in Cleveland, Ohio.
