Fab.com Makes Big Expansion

Launches Fab.de Throughout Europe

The popular online shopping platform Fab.com is expanding into the European market, which is said to be the largest e-commerce market in the world. The site recently launched "Fab Europe" (or Fab.de) across the pond that has all the features that we here in the states experience through the site, while pleasing the European consumers.

With e-commerce being one of the fastest growing markets in Europe, this expansion should prove to be a major success for Fab.com. European forecasters predicted a 14% increase in online shopping in Europe for the year. Fab Europe will reach 24 countries in Europe, allowing users to have live feed of items being sold, new product pickers, Facebook integration and 500 other features that we here in the U.S. love about the site.

European consumers will also get to experience Fab's mobile platform in the upcoming weeks. Shoppers will be able to shop from their Iphones, Androids and Ipads. As of right now 1 in 10 European shoppers will use their mobile phones to access their favorite stores. However, it is said that there will be an 80% increase in European mobile shopping by the end of this year. Fab Europe is breaking into the European mobile shopping market an an critical time and can generate interest in mobile shopping among European shoppers.

Fab.com's recent expansion into the European market began when they acquired Casacanda.de earlier this year. Fab then got Llustre UK and has since seen their European market grow to at least 2 million users.

With the large e-commerce market in Europe and Fab's ability to please their consumers and dominate their market, it should be a smart and beneficial move for Fab.com. With the mobile market growing in Europe, Fab Europe's mobile app should help grow the market and show to be successful.
