Flawless by Gabrielle Union Utilizing Chatbot for Personalized Haircare Recommendations

Recently, Flawless by Gabrielle Union, a hair care line made for women with textured hair, launched its Flawless hairbot through Facebook’s Messenger application. This will allow customers to receive more customized and personalized content. All products are color-safe and free of parabens, sulfates and glutens, with each product containing a blend of Avocado, Argan and Marula oils in order avoid compromising the hair’s health.

To develop the Flawless hairbot for Facebook Messenger, Flawless partnered with Botworx.ai, an AI powered platform for authentic conversations which is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA and has a global team across Asia, Europe and Latin America. The Messenger bot uses the AI engine from Botworx.ai to provide an engaging and personalized experience for Flawless customers. Customers are asked a series of questions in a hair profiler to determine the hair color, daily hair care maintenance and the damage level of the customer’s hair. Once the profile has been completed, suggested product recommendations for that customer are then provided. Customers are able to explore the selection provided and can purchase their Flawless by Gabrielle Union products online. Customers are also able to share their hair product recommendations with friends.

Botworx.ai works with Flawless by integrating its Sentiment Engine, a tool that automatically rates the overall tone and feeling of the brand by using product reviews, raves, opinions, and concerns. Sentiment analysis is a helpful tool which provides information regarding the company, products, campaigns, and the overall customer experience.
