Luxalia Secures Seed Funding for Italian Luxury Marketplace

Luxalia, a B2B platform for luxury products made in Italy, just raised €130,000 in seed funding.

Investors in the round include unnamed Italian and Russian business angels.

Luxalia was founded by export manager Davide Bianchi, who is also Luxalia’s CEO and Luigi Valerio Rinaldi, marketing director and CEO of Irish incubator Enry’s Island. Bianchi and Rinaldi are aiming to  build Luxalia into an Italian luxury marketplace.

The Pescara, Italy-and London, UK-based company is currently operating in private beta, as it Luxalia executives are currently selecting Italian manufacturers of products and services.

Luxalia executives said they plan to use  the new investment to  recruit  more Italian luxury brands during 2015 and expand into other countries in the future.
