Ties.com Snags New Partnership for International Expansion

Global Access, a provider of cross-border commerce technologies and shipping solutions founded in 2002, has partnered with Ties.com, a Southern California-based Internet retailer founded in 2000, in order to help better serve its international customers as well as help with their cross-border sales of premium men’s neckwear. Ties.com offers a large selection of high-quality men’s fashion accessories, such as neckties and socks.

This new partnership allows Ties.com to expand to the global market by utilizing Global Access’ integrated platform. This will provide international customers with the Ties.com branded checkout experience, including real-time tax and duty calculations, along with the international logistics network and transparent package tracking provided by Global Access.

“We founded Global Access on the belief that any US eCommerce retailer can build an international brand if international consumers are provided the same trusted, merchant branded, shopping experience that their domestic shoppers receive,” David Nielsen, Global Access CEO, said. “Our advancements in duty and tax automation, real-time order tracking and customs brokerage technology combined with our expansive international logistics network make it possible for Ties.com to expand around the world and build a valued global brand without compromising its passionate commitment to customer care.”

“For 15 years our company has succeeded and grown by providing high-quality products with superior customer service, and we are thrilled to expand our brand internationally,” Omar Sayyed, Ties.com CEO, said. “Since day one we’ve sought to offer our customers the best shopping experience online. With the help of Global Access’ cross-border expertise, technology and international logistics network, we’re confident that we can now deliver that to customers anywhere in the world.”
