Trendabl to receive $835,000 in Funding and Creates a Fashion-Community to Share and Follow Trends
$ 835,000 was the amount of money Trendabl, Instagram’s counterpart was fortunate to raise from Khosla Ventures, Forerunner Ventures and other angel investors. The start up created an app that gives its target market, which are people who love fashion, the opportunity to upload photos of fashion items from their iPhone and also function as a search engine for users to discover fashion. Other additional features are image-enhancing filters and the ability to tag brand, store, color as well as price to then share those pictures on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
The fashion app is suitable for those users that are passionate about fashion and design as they can appreciate following other members of Trendabl and learn about new brands, stores or trend items of a current season and on the other hand department stores, fashion brands and celebrities can create a network of followers to comment and view their posted fashion pictures.
Trendlabl was launched in 2012 as a fashion focused mobile app for the iPhone with which users have the ability to take pictures of anything fashion related and modify photos as well as tag brands and add infos such as store, color and price.
