Viyet raises $4 million for high-end furniture consignment marketplace

Viyet, a New York- based online, high-end furniture consignment marketplace, has raised $4 million in venture funding, according to a Form D filing with the SEC. The company has raised over $7 million to date.

Investors in the round were undisclosed.

Elizabeth Brown, Rachel Rodin, Louise Youngson-Klasfeld co-founded the site in 2012 as a white-glove service for people looking to sell their used high-end home furnishings.

Shoppers can choose from a selection of salvaged tables, seating and lighting among other home accessories.

No word on what the new investment will be used for, but one can assume the team at Viyet will use the funding to continue to build their platform and grow the company’s customer base.
