Vogue is on a mission to capitalize on the experience economy.
The fashion publication, in partnership with Milk Studios, HP and American Airlines, is launching its first ever “Forces of Fashion” conference.
Oct. 12, in New York City at Milk Studios, editors of Vogue, which include Chioma Nnadi, Nicole Phelps, Tonne Goodman and Hamish Bowles will engage in a series of intimate talks about the state of the fashion industry with fashion personalities including Virgil Abloh, Dries van Noten, Demna Gvasalia, Michael Kors and Heron Preston.
“We wanted to do something that is different, and which speaks to the world today — the collective desire for experience and connection,” Anna Wintour, Vogue’s editor-in-chief, said in a statement. “Forces of Fashion will bring together some of our favorite names, and allow them the opportunity to speak in a way they’ve never done before — live and direct with Vogue’s editors on a day that we believe will be as informative as it is intimate. You’ll need to be there to really experience it!”
For those who want this particular insider access to the industry, the experience will cost a cool $3,000 and a limited number of student tickets will also be made available here.
